THE FRANCHISE STORY

The Greenhouse. Their house.

Stay Green. Chase Gold.

The California Stoners began in 2008 as the Jersey Highways, capturing a championship in their inaugural season. The franchise later competed as Queens Bridges and New York Bridges before moving west and becoming the California Stoners in 2021.

The new identity produced immediate results. California won championships in 2021 and 2023, adding to earlier titles from 2008, 2018, and 2020. Five banners now hang inside The Greenhouse, with an open space reserved for championship number six.

The franchise operates two fantasy rosters under one crest, one front office, and one demanding Sunday standard. California prepares obsessively, embraces the theatre of game day, and treats every waiver claim like a front office decision worthy of public scrutiny.

The Greenhouse comes alive through green smoke, the fourth quarter growl, gold leaf victory ceremonies, and green lights illuminating the stadium after every home win.

Five banners. Chasing Six.

Fourteen points ahead. Six points to find.

Sunday, September 13 preview: California Stoners versus Lasso’s Goldfish. In a league that pays 12 points for a touchdown, that six-point projection gap is small enough for one scoring play to overturn.
