California has two leads and two very different routes through opening weekend. In the Sep. 12, 11:30 a.m. PT update, the Stoners led Lasso’s Goldfish 52–38 in Rollmerican but trailed the projected finish 214–208. In Tony Romo, California led Tush Push Nation 21.82–14.40 and held a projected advantage of 112.44–104.98. Neither game was final.
The Rollmerican challenge is building enough of a cushion before Lasso’s Sunday night combination of Javonte Williams and CeeDee Lamb. California’s schedule puts six remaining starters in Sunday’s 10 a.m. window, then leaves Rashee Rice for Monday. That creates a long stretch in which the opponent can move the target.
Tony Romo offers a different finish. Tush Push’s remaining starters are scheduled for Sunday, while California has Jaylen Waddle on Monday. David Montgomery and Jaylen Warren open the Stoners’ Sunday schedule; Justin Jefferson, De’Von Achane and Trey McBride occupy the later window. The projected edge is useful, not secure.
The roster moves are already on the books: Deebo Samuel Sr. replaced TreVeyon Henderson in Rollmerican, and Jared Goff replaced Josh Downs in Tony Romo. Neither move can alter completed Week 1 scoring. The club’s immediate test is converting its remaining opportunities, then arriving at Monday with a manageable assignment.
