Bundy also has an immediate lineup issue: Brock Bowers was still in the starting tight-end slot with an OUT designation and zero projection when checked Saturday. His reserve tight end, George Kittle, has already played. Bowers is ruled out for Week 1.
Bundy needs an eligible tight-end replacement, subject to league availability and roster rules, plus a strong day from the remaining starters. Jalen Hurts, James Cook III, Bucky Irving and Amon-Ra St. Brown offer real scoring routes, but the hole at tight end makes an already difficult comeback harder.
Lean: Mr. McGibblets. This is the clearest projected advantage in Rollmerican, although a lineup repair could change the forecast.
