What it should not become is fantasy fan fiction. One absent defender does not promise a huge passing line, a rushing score or a cleaner pocket on every snap. But removing a capable edge piece can matter around the margins, especially for a quarterback whose projection already represents one of the biggest remaining swings in the matchup.
